Agro Espido is a livestock company of the group Carneiro e Salgueirinho Ltd, which produces pigs and piglets solely for their own consumption. With the experience gained over time, and through successive steps, allowed to identifying a genetic line of pigs, mostly females. Agro Espido produces exclusively for the companies of the group and they also raise cattle, that is also marketed by Carneiro e Salgueirinho Ltd, in the butcher shop in the fair, in Trofa city. With this estrategic investment, the Group was able to control the product upstream, and as a result of a top and professional level, in veterinary medicine and zootechnical, allowed for a genetic improvement and control of all standards of Health and Safety at Work and welfare animal, the hallmark of Agro Espido.
